I still like Costa and I use costa.co.uk now and then to check offers or order bits, but it doesn’t feel like great value anymore. The drinks are nice enough, don’t get me wrong, but the prices seem a bit much for what you actually get.
The app and site usually work fine, and the rewards help a little, but not enough to make it feel cheap. I did have to contact support once and got transferred around, which was annoying when I just wanted a simple answer. I still pop in sometimes, just nowhere near as often as I used to...

The coffee is fine, but I was expecting the rewards to feel a lot more worthwhile than they do. They used to make me feel like I was actually getting something back, but now it feels like I’m spending more and getting less in return

I had a cappuccino and, to be fair, it tasted really good this time. It wasn’t too bitter, the milk was nice and smooth, and it stayed hot for a decent while. I’ve had a few coffees elsewhere that were a bit flat, so this was a nice change. Costa is usually a safe choice for me when I just want a decent coffee, although I do still wonder if the quality depends a bit on who’s making it.

I usually have a really nice experience at my local Costa. The staff are friendly most of the time, even when it’s packed, and a couple of them even remember my usual drink which always makes it feel a bit more personal. I actually mentioned it to a friend when they were looking for a decent coffee spot nearby. The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is that the queue can move slowly, especially during busy times.

I had a bit of a problem with a Costa gift card on costa.co.uk, so I ended up getting in touch with their customer service team to see if they could help me sort it out. To be fair, the person I dealt with was really polite and friendly, and once they got back to me properly, they did manage to resolve the issue, which I definitely appreciated. The only downside was that it took a couple of days before I got a proper reply, so it wasn’t exactly the quickest experience. That said, they were helpful when they did respond, and I felt like they actually looked into it rather than just sending a generic answer. Not perfect because of the delay, but overall a good experience, so I’d give them 4 stars.

The place was clean enough, I guess, but not amazing. The tables were a bit sticky and there were crumbs on the floor, which was kinda gross. Toilets were okay though, so it wasn’t a total disaster. Just feels like they need to check up on things more often, ya know?

I used costa.co.uk to check the menu and find my nearest shop, and it was literally quick and simple. The pages loaded fine, I didn’t have to dig around for anything, and the booking and rewards info was easy to spot too. No issues at all, it just does what you need.

I don’t want to be too harsh because maybe it was just an off day, but the sandwich I got today was disappointing. It tasted stale and was cold when I expected it to be fresh. Hopefully it’s better next time.

I had a good experience overall. The allergen information was easy for me to understand, which I really appreciated, and the staff were helpful when I asked a couple of questions. I did still double check everything just to be safe, but it made the process feel a lot more comfortable.

The drive thru was decent overall. My coffee tasted good and the staff got the order right, but the line moved slower than I expected. After I paid, I kind of felt unsure about what was taking so long and started wondering if everything was actually being handled properly. It turned out fine, but that little wait after payment made me feel a bit distrustful.
